Madilynn - 17 months old

Our little snoopy! At 17 months old she amazes us everyday with new words to add to her growing sentences. Just the other day she said, "Mom! I wanna bite you!" I was like, "What?! You want to bite me?!" She says, "Yep!" Okay so I'm going to brag a little. That to me is awesome for 17 months!

Madilynn loves the outdoors. I mean.......LOVES! She is so content to find bugs and dirt to chew on. Yes......bugs to chew. A few months ago she had escargo a'la raw for a snack. YUM! Her and her "sissy monkey" as she calls her, will spend all day out in the backyard digging in the dirt or jumping on the trampoline. Most days I catch a glimpse of a butt naked baby running through the grass in search for a cat's tail to pull. I love looking into her beautiful, clear blue eyes when she tells me her stories and can't get enough of her fishy-lip kisses. She never misses a chance to tell us "thank you" for any food we give her and she loves her some food! Rarely is a plate not cleaned by her.

I love that Derek and I can still find joy in all these developmental milestones three kiddos later.
