Catching up!

It's been too long since I blogged but the past few weeks have just been crazy! Madisyn started Brownies and I'm also the co-leader of her troop. Derek has been blessed with work, we start a life-group on Wednesdays with members of our church, I'm trying to get back into a Fibromyalgia support group and trying to deal with my blood sugar issues that have been acting up lately, we switched insurance so I'm in the process of reestablishing with new doctors and the icing on the cake (in a good way) is that we adopted a new family member. Kody was found by our cousin wandering and looking very lost. They took her in and cared for her hoping someone would claim her. They posted fliers everywhere and checked if she was micro-chipped. It's been over a month and no one has claimed her. We decided to give her a try and...... she is wonderful! She checks out very healthy from the vet, she is house trained, crate trained, leash trained and pays no mind to our two cats and vice versa. I can leave Maelynn on the ground and she doesn't bother her. She doesn't chew on things she isn't supposed to or get into the trash. She is already so faithful to us and listens to commands like: sit, shake, down. She is a very blessed addition to our family. Yes, our house is very full with two cats, a dog, a hamster, and the four of us......but it's a happy full house.
